CONNECTING COMMUNITIES PLUS

Aim

Connecting Communities Plus is a three-year programme in East Sussex (June 2006 to March 2009) and is supported by funding from the Central Government Department for Local Government and Communities, with contributory funding from partner public agencies (listed below).

It aims to improve Black and minority ethnic people’s access to local public services and confidence in public services, to tackle racism and to promote community cohesion.

Through this programme, Sompriti will also be supporting Black and minority ethnic people to increase confidence and express views about, and experiences of local public services and inform local services and policy development.
